Comments: The art is amazing, if you are someone who watches anime for the art, this one is definitely for you.
Story (8):
Although there are a few plot holes, the overall story was very interesting. The initial battle scene drew me in, there was so much detail and it was clear who the enemies were. You sided with the protagonist(Ledo, 16, male) automatically given that the hideauze were so nasty looking.
Next, he lands on earth, whoa, big surprise there. He ends up making a few mistakes, but they are forgivable since hes got this bad ass machine that can make up for his wrong doings.
Although this anime doesn't go in depth into Ledo's (main protagonist) adaption to earth (psychologically) it still shows us as viewers, that there are still human emotions like greed, happiness, violence. Humans are still at each others throats and also work together after the earth turns to sea. There is still humanity around the world, and different opinions bring forth different actions. (i.e episode 13)
Art (10):
The eyes....
The eyes drew me in, the detail was spectacular, but if you think the eyes were amazing, look at the background. The rust, the skies, the ocean were very detailed and i've only seen a few animes with such detail.
Sound (8):
Great sound, like many other animes.
Character (7):
Ledo was a great character, exactly expected of the lead male protagonist.
Chamber had such a deep and logical understanding of humans. Whilst watching the anime, I thought that Chamber could "persuade" Ledo to destroy the humans, but nope that doesn't happen.
Amy was pretty simple, shes got some nice assets, I would consider her more of a side character since all she does is send mail and hope that Ledo doesn't die? Shes not very useful. I guess she helps Ledo become more human?
Overall (8):
Art was beautiful thats always a plus in any anime. Story had the potential to turn around, but it didn't. Definitely didn't take a really bad turn though. Could have been longer, more detail would have been better. I wouldn't rewatch this, but I am glad I did watch this.
