Perhaps it's just me but i find this anime a real drag on. If i were to described it, this anime is like an onion where you need to peel layer by layer to reach the core. This anime is just like it, snippets by snippets of information at every episode before you reach the final truth at the last of it.
The story was fair, but given the circumstances, this anime could be shorten by removing unnecessary flashbacks and dialogue. I find myself trying to be patient to go by the flow but i could not stop myself from trying to fast forward the story as the anime was to slow-paced for me. 13 episodes should be sufficient.
The art was above average, portraying emotions as clear as crystal.
The sound effects was sufficient, and not giving any additional effects on the audience.
The characters were good, it's just again, they are too moving slow for me. The thoughts are replaying themselves and it does not expose much of the character.
Thus, this anime was almost mundane and dull to me, with the least of humor in this.
If you want to watch an anime to pass time, this is it. But if you want to watch an anime with meaning, this isn't the one. However, the only best part of this anime is how well the lines from literature classics, like The Tempest and Hamlet were quoted at suitable times, like the whole anime is based on them. I would recommend to read the classics more than to watch this anime. This anime is pure fantasy with little connection to the real world.
