I don't even like supernatural animes, but Monogatari's story is just so perfect that I just fell in love with it. Every single episode is mostly 20 minutes of 2 characters talking on 1 scenario and... that's about it. I know, It sounds bad, but think about this, if it really is that bad... how come so many people love this and how come 80% of the people who watched it classifies it as their favourite anime of all time? This series has it ALL... Mystery, ghosts, comedy, romance, drama, action, it even has some incest in it! you name it, Monogatari has it. The art-style is wonderful and the animation is just super crazy and bizzare, It doesn't even makes sense at times but we love it! The music in this anime... oh god don't even get me started with the music! every single opening is straight-up a masterpiece. The timeline is fucked up at times, but you get used to it with time. The plot is just magnificent! But well... this isn't weird since this anime was made by SHAFT (My favourite animation studio since Monogatari and Madoka are my favourite animes).
I gotta say, I don't recommend Monogatari to everyone since it's a really heavy anime to bear, as I said, most of it are dialoges, and most of them are super symbolic and thought-provoking. But, if you can bear that, you should definetly check Monogatari out
PD: the correct order to watch it is: Bakemonogatari - Nisemonogatari - Nekomonogatari: Kuro - Monogatari Series: Second Season - Tsukimonogatari - Hanamonogatari and the on-going Owarimonogatari.
