For those of you who haven't seen this show yet, I recommend watching Baccano first. Durarara actually has a few Baccano references, which I thought were great. In terms of this show, I thought that the story was very interesting. It's similar to Baccano in that there's fantasy involved and the "gangs", except Durarara is set in Japan. The mythical Dullahan and Slasher was interesting, especially since I already have an interest in myths to begin with. I thought that the characters were diverse and not your typical ones. Some events were unexpected and made it more enjoyable to watch. I also loved the soundtrack and I am looking forward to watching the sequel.
