Story- Great plot, well written, that is simple but still interesting enough to keep you coming for more. You care enough for what was going to happen with some of the characters that have you caring for them. With one of the best protagonist I have seen in any anime.
Art- Can't go wrong with old school anime. It looked beautiful for it's time and well shot that I simply have no complains.
Sound- I like the intro music but it couldn't of had better music and a lot more. It didn't bother me so I won't go into anymore details.
Character- At first I like some of the characters like Guts and Griffith but I couldn't stand Casca way of expressing herself to Guts. It was just very poorly of her to complain all the time ( I know why she was acting this way) but still there was no need for her to behave like that. I wish she couldn't of been developed a little better. Some of the side characters are none important to the story that they're ver forgettable. Of course you need a lot of characters if you have a group of warriors but some of them are just not intereseting enough that I didn't care if they live or die.
Enjoyment- I enjoy every minute of it. With a great protagonist that you just want to watch kick some ass is hard to dislike a anime that have such a likeable protagonist and also a great antogonist that you hate but want to keep seeying him around. Good character development execpt for Casca, very intreging story that gets better as it goes along. Berserk is a much watch for all anime fans.
