First of all, everything about this anime is perfect (to me). The characters are very lively and full of personality, the story is heartwarming and, even if it makes you cringe for a while, you yourself could relate to and under stand the problems that the characters face. The visuals of this anime are amazing too, with its pretty linear design, it just has some warmth to the animation and the art in general.
I would just like to point out that the Dub for this anime is very good and would encourage to watch it. The sub also is fantastic but doesn't, to me, seem to fit with the story. I needed to point out the Dub for really one reason. The Dub just made the anime more fun to watch. In my opinion, you should only watch an anime if you have no problem staying up all night to watch it, and the dub makes this anime better just because of the personality behind it. Although much of the dialogue is changed and isn't the same exact script as in the Sub, many American cultural aspects are used in the Dub so if you are American, you can appreciate these jokes and I encourage you to watch the dub if you are.
In my reviews, I try not to point out the story and in general try to convince you to watch the anime without any info what so ever. In this case, some info needs to be given. First of all, this is a "Slice-Of-Life" anime, so there will be a lot of things that you and I can relate to and remember back to. Also, this falls under the romance genre of anime so if you are not into romance-heavy story, then this is not your type of thing.
Just a section for the characters, they are the focal point of this anime. Their personalities and back-stories are what drive this anime and really makes you feel for them in a way different from any other anime. It just feels organic, like you are there actually watching the anime unfold.
In conclusion, Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai is my favorite anime that I have watched so far. This and the second season are phenomenal, but the first season is far better than the second. I must say though, if you are more of a drama-lover, then the first season is for you. But, the second seasons "Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai Ren" is mainly driven by romance, but both are amazingly well done either way. The characters, music, art, its all here. Really, I have not enjoyed an anime to this extent before. If you have not watched this anime, give it a shot. I guarantee that there will be at least something that you will enjoy during the show.
