I stumbled upon Haikyuu on an anime website and I figured I'd give it a try, not knowing what the anime was even about. The story is good, basic. About a team that wants to show the world that they're still strong and can go to nationals (and win). The art is great, very colorful and the animation is outstanding. The sound is one of the highlights of this anime, the sounds of the volleyballs being spiked, or the teammates saying "don't mind!" To their comrades, very thought trough with the dialogue. The characters are interesting, determined and strong-willed, with a bit of comedy involved (like funny faces and playful fighting). My enjoyment from this anime made me bring out my inner child, it's a very hype anime and the episodes are never a let down. Even a slow episode is still worth watching. Overall I give this anime a 9, it will not be a waste of time to watch and you can even learn about volleyball which I think is a great aspect. I had no idea that there were so many positions in volleyball and how coordinated you have to be! Would recommend.
