Story: 7. The story isn't so exciting but it's not a big deal because it's the characters that really make the whole thing into a succes.
Art: 10. Well, it's a modern and new anime made in 2014 so the art is very nice and "fresh", and by this I mean both the animation and the charactar/anime design.
Sound: 8. It doesn't really contain much soundtracks and music, but I think it's good enough for only being a 12 episode long anime. The voice actors really did a great job making the anime sound realistic, with focus on the kids voices in the anime that actually are acted by kids around the same age. Compared to other "anime kid characters" it's usually adults acting them and it doesn't sound so good and realistic.
Character: 10. The characters are the best thing in Barakamon. They are the sucess of the series making it into something unique. You'll see it yourself while watching it, I don't really want to "spoil" the best thing.
Enjoyment: 9. Barakamon is enjoyable because of it's outstanding comedy and characters, that's all I can say.
Overall: 9. Barakamon is as I have written before a unique and different comedy series that is worthy of watching. The only reason I won't give it a 10 is just since the story isn't so exciting and could've been better I guess.. But it's no big deal as I mentioned before because the real focus is on the characters.
