The story overall was excellent, it felt fairly well paced for a 12 episode anime, there is plenty of build up to make all of the latter events feel like they could actually occur. My main flaw as i will go into more detail below in character.
Art 9/10
The art felt very similar to clannad's, which i absolutely love, my only problem with it was that some characters facial expressions didnt convey their feelings very well. It also ties into my flaw in character.
Sound 7/10
The songs fit the atmosphere pretty well, I'm just didnt really feel there was any song that really held me though. Its more of my opinion and probably would not really bother anyone else.
Character 5/10
While the majority of the main cast I absolutely loved and felt for throughout (I almost feel bad giving a 5 when most of the characters were so well done), Itou ruined the whole show for me.
In all honesty I feel like he was either dropped on his head as a baby or has a balanced diet between glue and paint. Im not going to lie i have never met a single human as stupid as him in my life. Across the first 4-5 episodes he is told certain facts about not just about Kotonoha but women in general, proceeds to ignore them and then wonders why it didnt turn out how he wanted. I thought he may actually learn throughout the anime but no he not only gets worse he proceeds to ignore any moment he could actually stop and say wait Im causing all these issues for myself and could potentially resolve them.
He ruined any part of the story which he could, he had about as much empathy as a plank of wood and his art just seemed to not really fit the show. His facial expressions were literally switching between "oh no what should I do?" and "can I have sex with her?".
If such a character was a minor side character i felt it would have been ok but as a protagonist he completely destroyed what could have potentially have been a true masterpiece.

Im sorry for the above rant about Itou but it felt he let the rest of the anime down heavily. I know how core most of his stupidity was to the plotline but I feel it was taken to a point that was unnecessary. Many parts of the ending I feel could still have happened even if they changed him so he wasnt as bad.
Oh yeah back to the overall opinion...
Was a very good anime with good art and atmosphere, a well done story and 2/3 of the lead cast being very well developed.
