A very silly anime, but in a good way

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai, is not the type of anime you'd want your family walking in on you watching.

Very light hearted, non serious, comedic show that is tailored towards a mature audience.

This anime presents a hilarious theme, that doesn't take itself too seriously, shimoneta knows that it is ridiculous, but that's why I enjoyed so much.
If you expect a serious story driven anime, then this is not for you, it is more the type you would watch when you need a really good laugh, and it delivers in that regard.
It is set in a overly censored Japan, with rebellion being a strong theme, most of the show is set in a high school

The art is really good and enjoyable, it comes with a stylised way that doesn't deviate from the more mainstream anime styles. Shimoneta had quite the charming look throughout the whole thing, it was done tastefully even the more sexualised parts.
The censorship Shimoneta was hilarious, with some ecchi scenes it does a good job of letting you fill in the blanks and making for a very funny experience.
It has so much material which is perfect for making into reaction pictures and gifs which can be all credited to the wonderful job done by the staff.

The cast of characters in Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai was almost perfect, The anxious teen Tanukichi, The suggestive rebel Kajou, Anna The prefect who will do anything as long as it is righteous, Saotome the talented artist and Kosuri the childish and devilish young girl.
These characters are who got the most screen time and for good reason with them all bringing their own quirks to the table, as a whole every character was unique and crazy.

As for the sound, all the characters had very fitting voices that were suited towards their personalities very well, the delivery of dialogue throughout was great and especially Ayame Kajou whose innuendoes were well placed/so random you dont even know how to react.
the effects were suited to each action, even some to the point of being cartoony but that isn't a bad thing.

I thoroughly enjoyed Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai, I found it refreshing and funny to the point where I had to pause the episode until I chilled out.

I would recommend this anime to anyone who likes short but sweet shows that wont take up too much time or brain power to watch.

A very solid 8/10.
