I fell in love with Love Live!
Funny fact what dragged me into the Idol genre, was in when I saw the iDOLM@STER skins on Ace combat 6, Chihaya, Iori, and the Futami Twins looked very adorable...
That's how I watched my first Idol Anime-iDOLM@STER. Then I saw many people recommend this, Love Live! is truly amazing and re-establishes the importance of Idol genre in Anime. However, In my opinion I don't think it is better than iDOLM@STER...yes it has better art, but the depth and connection you had between the characters in iDOLM@STER was a bit more prominent than in Love Live! And Love Live was short...IMO that is.
