When this series first aired on Japanese TV, I was not intrested in it. I kept seeing images of the main charachter Sebastian and thought he was a rip of Mukuro Rokudo of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, so I dicided to sit down and see if the show was worth all the hollabo. I became hooked and this is a anime higly ranked in my book. When I went to anime club, I recamended this show to all the girls. I cant wait for season 2. 24 episodes dosent seem enough for this awsome anime.
The animmation may not be as buetiful as something made by Kyoto Animation, but it was lovley. The soundtrack fit each scene perfectly. I like how they played opera music while Sebastian throws kitchen knives killing the mafisos in the second ep. If you like blood this anime has plenty of it just not buckets like Elfen Lied. This show is also hillarious, I did not think it was a comedy at first, boy I practly woke up my family laughing while watching the show late at night. You will also love the charachters, Sebastian is the butler, the rensiance man, and the demon. He is one hell of a butler like he always says. Ciel is the master and a cutie, Elezibith is his cute and crazy fiance, Grell is the phyco shinagami who has the hotts for Sebastian. With a cast like this, how could you hate this anime.
PROS- bishie boys, laugh out loud humor, nail biting suspence, bloody scenes
CONS- hardly any female charachters, 24 episodes seemed too short
Overall0 two tumbs up, this show is like Hellsing meets Hayte the Combat Bulter, highly recamended, Somebody please license this show. I want it on DVD.
