The protagonist (tomoya) was really annoying:due the fact that his father was an alchoholic and lost his job, he didn't have any respect for him. In my opinion, he really exaggerated every problem that came his way. People have to deal with problems like his really often, so he shouldn't act like he has the worst problems in the world.
the characters, and I mean all his female friends, were all pictured very immature and pretty vulnerable.I don't mean to say that girls can't be vulnerable, but it just gives a distorted image of girls in general.I had the feeling that they were just all flat characters.
This anime could not really captivate me, although I feel like alot of people did enjoy this anime and felt really emotional as the character dealt with their problems.
This is the first season though and the second was was better made than this one .If you really want to watch an anime that wants to touch you and you enjoy to watch a brainless anime with alot of emotional problems, then this anime is something for you. For me, it was just something to pass time with, nothing more nothing less.
