Remember in the beginning of the show it was just a comedy about kids with super powers? Okay giving Charlotte an overall 5 actually feels very generous to me. The thing is it was actually a really good show before it decided to take a deep dark turn then just felt like it was only doing things for shock factor and to dig deep down in your emotions to make you feel moved. Honestly you can almost tell what the whole show is going to be like just by hearing the opening song because that sounds like 4 songs mashed into one and that's exactly what Charlotte overall was trying to pull -- so many genres and turns that it ends up feeling messy and disappointing. One thing I can say is if Charlotte ended with the 12 episodes and forgetting the 13th one and maybe releasing it as an ova it would of received a higher rating and more enjoyment. The worst thing about how Charlotte was trying to force you to feel for it is when it finally got to the most climatic parts it was so rushed and then boom the whole show was over -- very disappointing.
