Secondly,this show could be a lot better if Manglobe that was bankrupted doing it.
Nevertheless a promising show that got kinda ruined.
Let's start with the things I liked from the show:
-The music
Oh my God,the OST is unbelievably amazing in the show.The opening theme is my favorite of this year and if you dont want to watch the show check the opening ,it's an earworm.
-The world
I liked the Italian city vibe that Ergastulum offered.Especially the buildings,atmosphere gives you the feel of an mafia controlled city.Well done Gangsta.
-The characters:
Nick is probably one of the most unique characters in anime world.Being deaf and using the sign language(that was animated fantastically btw) was really cool.Also huge props to the VA of Nicolas who did an amazing impression of deaf people that try to talk.Easy 10/10 for the sound department.
Worick is my favorite character in the show,his style is just badass.Just the Ciao scene made me instantly fall in love with him.
Also the rest of the cast is pretty strong,but sadly not enough episodes that could make advantage of that .
Now you wonder what did ruin the show.Unfortunately in the middle of the show,the art started to be rushed and the scenes were drawn horribly.Probably because the studio was nearing its end and Gangsta took a big hit in its face.The story got rushed down and the episodes as well so we got what we have now.An okayish show that had the potential to become a 9/10 or even a 10/10 who knows?
I'm really really disappointed how the show ended but it's still a show you can check and still enjoy it.
Overall a 7/10
