People love cliches, even in the cheesiest form possible and there's no denying that.

While there is a fine line between adding in cliches to spice things up and overdoing it. Guilty Crown seems to do it justice despite having a large amount of it. Amazing OSTs composed by Hiroyuki Sawano as well flashy and mesmerizing work from Production I.G really gives off a unique feeling when being indulge into the anime cliche.

The storyline and plot doesn't waste time and ensures the ball is kept rolling. That being said, most would agree that the series should've ended halfway. However, the second half of the series creates many opportunities for other supporting characters such as some screen time as well as their involvement with the series. The second half of the plot also gives Guilty Crown a much resolute feel to its entire series, packing in sub-plots, character development, etc.

Some(Most) may agree that the ending of Guilty Crown could be better, but following the trend of tragic loses in the series somewhat justifies the decision.

Ultimately, Guilty Crown is an anime that's lived up to its name and stature. With an amazing plot and interesting characters, coupled with mesmerizing music by Supercell (featuring Koeda and Cherry) and Hiroyuki Sawano. This anime is truly a work of art.
