Fate/ Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works based on the visual novel by type moon. Directed by Kenichi Takeshita. I couldnt watch more than 2 eps of the first fate stay night it just didnt trap me. . . ye. F/SN:UBW i guess the reboot, kicked ass. Action, animation, characters were all done way better of course this is my opinion.

The plot essence isn't exactly new but its interesting. So the holy grail war is whats happening and its happened before. 7 mages get a servant each and these servant are hero's of old coming back to fight once more. The grail is whats being sought after and when obtained a wish can be granted.

What was done right, the fact that its not always from Emiyas point of view (this dude is way . . . stubborn) In the beggining i was scoffing, hissing and tutting at almost everything he had to say but thanks to Rin and her point of view it wasnt to much. (you get why hes like that later on and its satisfying).
The action was epic i could rewatch most of the sequences and enjoy them just as much as the first time. The mains arent OP so you see some real development of skills.
The mood of this anime is kinda dark, and i guess serious with few light parts. The things i took away from the anime is one of the biggest credits i can give i feel like i have to wait a bit after some episodes and just meditate on it alil, even though i feel like they can go into somethings more i was pretty happy thinkin on it on my own.

Not many negatives except for a minor distaste for Emiya at points. I thought it could have been longer, talking about the other mages and heros a bit more but for what was given satisfied is an understatement.

Do i recommend this? Hell to the yes. Its well done and visually, its unique in ways that really add to the enjoyment. I rate this Badass
