Lovely characters and a realistic storyline make OreGairu 2 a fantastic anime. The technical (sort of like philosophical) approach to understanding life is what makes this anime stand out.
He's a guy who knows how life works. He knows how to solve problems alone by hurting himself. Because he's a nobody, no one would lose anything if he solves a problem by becoming an enemy. And trust me, the story is so touching because a couple of lovely girls DO lose something when he hurts himself.
He might sit in a corner and avoid interaction, but he's more smart than most other people of his class. The best thing about this anime is that you'll learn a lot. The romance finally makes its appearance in this second season.
The story is very beautiful and thoroughly, extremely realistic. Hikki, in fact, is one of the finest characters ever crafted for a romantic, realistic slice of life anime.
