In all honesty, I don't like to review animes. My standards can be subpar sometimes, especially when it comes to things like art and sound, and I feel like a fool when I write.
Thus, I'll keep my review short and to the point.
Death Parade is a one of a kind, thought provoking anime that deals with darker, and sometimes profound themes. Death Parade is an anime that is not afraid to toe the lines of what defines morality and even life. Be prepared to feel a void in your heart, as you, as a member of the audience, are forced to consider the themes of this anime--death, life, hatred, jealousy, happiness, contentment, love, rage, trauma; few animes are so adept at actively drawing in the mind of viewers.
I won't give any specifics of the plot, but I have to say, Death Parade, out of the humble amount of anime I have watched, is possibly the only anime that has left me feeling broody and a little empty inside.
tl;dr?
Death Parade is an excellent anime that will force you to consider darker, more profound themes; be prepared to become a little emptier inside, but expect to think profoundly while watching.
