Spoiler
After reading Parts 1 and 2 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure last year, I was really itching to go onto the next part, Stardust Crusaders. I was leaning towards reading them having read the first two, as I heard the original anime of Part 3 was rather off from the original storyline of the manga. Note that I am basing my rating on this for the genre as a whole, not the entirety of anime.

Luckily, as if by fate, I found out that a new anime was being released of JoJo. I also found out about the first 2 Parts, but not until I started watching it.

The story starts off with protagonist, Jotaro Kujo, residing in a jail cell, having beaten up a bunch of hooligans using a so-called "Evil Spirit". His grandfather, Joseph from Part 2, turns up from America with Egyptian acquaintance Muhammed Avdol. It soon turns out that they he has an spiritual manifestation known as a 'Stand'.
At this point, I was excited having found out about the series through it's titular bizarreness, the fabulousity and the Stands. It kind of replaces the 'Hamon' power of the last instalments, but makes up for it with awesomely crazy and creative abilities that the Stands have in their arsenal. My only little niggle with this is that I really would have liked to see Hamon brought back into usage along with Stands for a few more creative fighting styles, but seeing as how the stories have played out, I don't really care all that much as it makes sense. 9/10 for Story.

About the graphical apparel this show wears...it is brilliant, it's like i'm using a Stand ability myself that allows me to animate manga (and colour it). That may sound really stupid, but it's not far off from some of the techniques utilized by a lot of them. I haven't even watched it in HD and it still looks crisp and detailed on most, if not all of the important scenes and even ones that don't even matter that much. 10/10 for Art.

The VAs pulled an impressive job in this, especially for Jotaro's no-care attitude and especially Joseph's "OH MY GAARRD!". Despite it being engrish, due to the theme of the anime, it really made it that much funnier hearing it. Don't even get me started on the Openings. Some might find them lacking, for a lack of a better term, compared to other anime. They WILL get in your head eventually, even if you fight it.
Also, expect to hear an "OraOraOra" every once and a while, it really makes fight scenes satisfying. Also "Rerorerorero" will get you. 10/10 for Sound.

The main cast really is a big bunch of misfits, with Jotaro as the guy who seriously doesn't want to take any bull from you, Joseph as the wacky grandpa and Avdol as a rather stern and (ironically) cold individual that will still make you laugh. I would say more about the other protagonists, but that may be spoilers to some people.
Aside from the main protagonists and the villains, most people don't really have a say in anything and normally end up dying or being pushed aside as something minor. To be honest, I rather like it as it means the story refrains from dragging on or trying to pull out something interesting and then pushing it aside. It helps you to feel more attached to the main lot, anyway.
9/10 for Character.

I seriously couldn't stop watching it. I learned that going to the toilet in certain parts of the world is a no-go, dogs like coffee-falvoured chewing gum and, hey, even Avdol taught me how to drink Chai properly (SPOILER ALERT!).
The story really keeps you on your toes as to what kind of stand will appear next. Despite the lack of Hamon, it really shows that it was probably the right choice to have more of the Stands instead. 10/10 for Enjoyment.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. It has the laughs, the cool and even the tears.
All the while remaining perfectly fabulous.

10/10
