is a classic, decent, heartbreaking, yet heartwarming anime.
The story and characters are classic, decent formula. Even though there are a few scenes that I found disturbing to watch, they contribute to some deep, touching scenes that really "reaches" you.
In the first few episodes you will find the show mediocre, nothing special. But later on you will sometimes pause for a moment, thinking, wondering, imagining. It's not something that I do quite often while watching anime.
It is not a must-watch show, but it is so refreshing to watch. If you got tired of anime these days, go pick this one up, it will refresh you. I wanted to give it 9, but for some reasons I cannot, so 8 it is.
It is funny to think that I write this review even though it wasn't really an outstanding show, while there are tons of anime that I gave higher score to. (that I didn't review)
