I think Jun Maeda, P.A. Works, and Key, have done a magnificent job of this anime. I have just completed this anime and I have to say, I'm impressed. I watched Angel Beats! a while ago and that was made by Maeda. I really like Angel Beats! and I felt that Charlotte had the same vibe. If you have watched Angel Beats! you will know what I mean. Maeda wrote both Angel Beats! and Charlotte and both are original anime series; not based off a manga, light novel, visual novel etc... Yet again, Maeda has exceeded my expectations of this anime which is quite rare. The overall concept of the supernatural powers these teens have and the character development between them makes the anime a whole. I like how the meaning of the title of the anime "charlotte" isn't revealed until the last few episodes. It shows the problems of having supernatural powers and the main character Yuu is reinforced by being the naive innocent boy who can save all the others with these supernatural powers in the end with his ability he has. The only grudge I have on this anime is that you could tell that at the end of episode 12, the anime was going to have to be rushed. In episode 13, the scenes were really rushed and didn't go into much character development in these other very minor supporting characters with abilities. However, it was able to retain its message and show the overall goal that Yuu had and achieved. It ended on a very emotional and happy ending which I really like. It wasn't too cliché but it had the same problem as Angel Beats! where there could have been a little more episodes, perhaps 5 more episodes, that could have been added to the anime to make the story less rushed and further the character development.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and recommend it to pretty much anyone especially if you watched Angel Beats!. If you have watch Angel beats!, I have no idea what you are doing if you haven't started watching this as the story is written by Maeda and the music is also written by Maeda and it is produced by the same company, P.A. Works and Key. They both have similar story, art, and sound because it's produced by the same people. In my opinion, this would be one of the top anime's of 2015, if not of all time.
