When I first saw the show, there was something about it that made me want to watch it. I wasn't sure what it was at first, but as soon as the plot started to move along I really started to like it. The show is fast paced with great characters who really allow the show to set itself apart from others. The introduction of magic, slowly shows the rift between those who can use magic and those who can't. The show never has a dull moment. Whether it is the Nine Schools Competition Arc or the Yokohama Disturbance Arc, the show just keeps building on itself. The main character Tatsuya and his sister Miyuki have an interesting relationship between one another to say the least. This was my one gripe with this otherwise incredible show because I felt very awkward whenever Miyuki tried to make a move with her brother. However being able to look past these moments, always proved to be the best thing because the show always followed it up with a very well done action sequence. The art for this show is done very well. It is both bright and vibrant, which really make the show stand out in an action genre. The way this anime integrated CGI into the 2-D world make it look really well. I would compare it's flawless integration to that of the CGI in the Neon Genesis Evangelion rebuild films. Overall, I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants an all around great show.
