I just finished Kill La Kill today. I don't get what the buzz is about, it's really not that good. The first twelve episodes were fine to me, the characters were fairly likable and the story was decent. Around episode 14 the story gets so convoluted and just plain stupid. I'm sorry, but I'm not that impressed. The best part of this anime is that the action makes up for the story being ridiculous.

My favorite character is Mako, and if you haven't watched it yet that doesn't help you much. She's a support character that's best friends to the main. Her dialogue during serious (ly stupid) scenes made the show more bearable for me towards the end.

My overall rating for the show is a 6. It could have been a 7 or 8 if the story wasn't just so stupid; I literally lost some brain cells thinking about the plot. Sheesh. I recommend watching this for plain enjoyment and for actions scenes. DO NOT watch this for a good story. If you're reading this and already saw the show and honestly thought it was good, I'm sorry, but you really need to watch better anime.
