Let me first say that this anime was one that after I read the synopsis to, I put off watching for a LONG time. BUT NOW THAT I HAVE, IT HAS SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS AND OUTDONE MOST ANIMES I'VE WATCHED.

Plot:
While this anime may lack a traditional, clear villain and Hollywood Blockbuster action (though there is some blood), we aren't bored at all. One, because it's only 12 episodes long, but moreover, the deep themes are enough to keep us both entertained and intrigued. Now, when I say this anime is deep, IT IS DEEEPPPPPPP. I would spend 10-20 min. contemplating the different themes and philosophical elements of each episode. For example, after the first episode I'd ask myself, "Why a bar? Should eternal judgement take place in some grand tribunal courthouse? What does placing it in a bar mean? What does it symbolize and say about human nature?" Needless to say, it excels in deepness.

Art:
Honestly, I don't have much to say here besides that it was awesome. They really portrayed mystical and futuristic things well.

Sound:
Though the theme song may sound weird at first (esp. given the topic of the anime), it grows on you quickly! Music was appropriate pretty much everywhere, and just wait until you get to the end! There is an AMAZING piano solo.

Character:
I thought the relationship between the two main characters was done beautifully. It progressed slowly at points but was with sporadic events that took things to a new level. The only thing I would say is that some of the background characters could have used more attention and were harder to read. But overall, it was still great.

Enjoyment:
This anime sparked ALL SORTS of emotions in me! I love, love, LOOOVVVVEEEEEE IT!

Overall:
I think y'all get the gist of things. Watch it, and you will not regret it. It's an anime you HAVE to think about deeply to maximize understanding and enjoyment. Just watch.
