Looks like JC staff decided to take the dirty way, by adapting Shimnometa, where sexual jokes is banned in Japan. Well, we talk dirty jokes right?
I wouldn't say it's to indecent or inappropriate to watch, because I came here to watch the plot. Shimnometa focuses on Ayame trying to bring back dirty jokes in order for the society not to be boring, while Okuma clearly doesn't like indecent things but still wanted to help, which is great. I see the progression, I see the storyline and all focuses on bringing back dirty jokes but not radically af like the white peak, who has a fetish on pantsu. Since it has storyline, it's great they made it not too complex and I, myself easily understand what they are achieving for.
Character designs likewise aren't that bad, quite appealing. The animations are the JC staff quality which they had produced some of the best anime such as Toradora and Sakurasou. No weird animations, everything is smooth. It's great that it is not too saturated but some scene especially at sunset is a little bit dark to see. But still, great quality of work.
The OP was enjoyable and is stuck in my head right now while the ED was catchy to listen. The seiyuus are well-picked, I love how Ayame's voice acting especially the laughing part and Anna's voice acting when she is turned on by Okuma. Okuma on the other hand sound like Hiro Shimono but actually the seiyuu is from Shirobako's VA. Still he did a good job.
I enjoy all the characters in this series, especially Ayame, I love how she decided to go against the decency system for the sake of having dirty jokes back but rather not be too radical, even though she can have dirty minded things, she does show her kindness side like giving praise to Okuma but still praising in a dirty way. For Anna, well I do like her because when she got turned on, she posses superhuman power which well, can bring down a person in a mere second and tend to run super fast to get Okuma. Though she is calm and very strict on lewdness but she get turned on when she hit the table or smell Okuma's "things"
With 12 episodes finished airing, I do enjoy watching it even though it is mostly on sexual jokes, well I don't mind since I watch seitokai yakuindomo, since both share the same theme which is dirty jokes. I don't mind if it get a season two, cause I would love to see more Okuma sufferings from Anna's turned on mode xD.
