Most of the reviews about this season concentrates on complaining about how badly it was done because of the fact that it didn’t follow the manga's storyline. I’m sure that they are 100% true (most of the time the manga is far more superb than the anime adaptation and for that the anime that follows the manga is more successful) .But I would like to do some justice to it and write something about this season and not compare it to the manga, just think about it like something completely separated ( it’s not ideal I know).Something that I enjoyed in my free time

( please take note that I have not read the manga)

Firstly, one of the best things about it it's how realistic humans seem to be and their relationships between them. The reasons behind their actions and motives. I loved that contrary to season 1, which made you kind of hate the humans and lean towards the ghouls, this season gave you an insight into the humans too, and those that firstly looked like the “bad guys” suddenly had a reason behind their “unjustified actions”. The tragicness arises from the fact that even though we finally figure out their reasons and justify them, at the same time we come to the realization that the outcome was everyone's doing,It was everyone’s fault. ( at least in my perspective) .Everyone was right and at the same time wrong.

Secondly, I would like to point out the absolutely amazing soundtrack . The acoustic version of “Unravel”(and the exact scene that was played ) was breathtaking .Also, the song “Glassy Sky” made it to my top anime songs.

Thirdly, I would like to point out the apparent plot holes. Personally, I enjoyed the anime enough not to let it bother me that much, but I would definitely read the manga.

In conclusion, I absolutely recommend this and suggest to just forget the manga for awhile and enjoy the whole aesthetic of it.
