This anime is like a slice-of-life anime so there isn't any plot in it, but I do enjoy how it was introduced. I will try not to tell you anything that happens in it, but I believe I was hooked by the 5th episode or so.
Art/Animation:8
I won't say that it was terrible or particularly amazing. My main complaint would really be how it seemed like "plastic". I don't know how to explain it, but maybe it's the way that the animators made it shine. One other thing that I did not like about it was how they show the character's lips. I know this is a weird reason but it just bothered me throughout the whole series. I found myself constantly focused on how their lips were since in other anime I got used to seeing partial lines for smiles and all. The animations however, were very fluent. Especially when people were playing the piano. The finger motions were very, very, fluid.

This. This. Technically speaking, some of the pieces were not original as it came from people in the past, but everything else. Even the pieces that came from the past, you can TELL that it was played through perfectly. In the anime, it is constantly mentioned how the pieces have "color" in them and I could also hear the "color" in the pieces too. The music was placed in perfect timings and, as a final note, I'm going to say that I rarely am able to remember the music of an anime as it just "comes and goes".

I really enjoyed how round and dynamic the characters were. Kousei is a person who, jokingly speaking of course, "dies" multiple times and treats his injuries like nothing. All the characters were not some useless side characters; they actually had real purpose on the story. There are some anime that I have watched where the side characters don't actually do much, and that bothered me.

I feel that I could have finished this even in ONE day if I was really dedicated, but ended up finishing it in two. I was starting to rush towards the end so I watched it at like 3 times speed but I still got the general gist of it. This anime hooked me to it despite accidentally spoiling it for myself.

Final comments:
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys music. There are some events that happen in there which make it very, very, memorable to me and many others. However, even if you do not enjoy music, the characters and everything else I feel should be plenty to make you watch it regardless.
