Okay, so this is not your average anime. It starts off very psychologically intense and the viewer probably believes it will continue to be an intense show. Death Parade is nothing less of brilliant. The opening episode captures your interest and "shocks" the viewer with another possibility of life after death. The story's characters are arbiters and judge human lives, sending them to either "heaven" (reincarnation) or "hell" (the void). I will not spoil the story, but it is definitely worth the watch.

The story is above average in my opinion and can be seen as very touching. The main character (which doesn't remember her name) befriends an arbiter and I will leave it at that. It will make your head spin!

The artwork is phenomenal. Enough said. If you watch it, the part with the pool table is crazy.

I have nothing to really say about the sound as a whole, but the credits are good songs.

The characters are very interesting; however, since it is a 12 episode show, the characters don't fully develop into characters you'll love per say. Just watch the show to know what I mean.

I enjoyed this anime very much, I gave it an 8/10: mainly because it could have probably been a 24 episode show and added a few more "filler" episodes with more games. You'll understand when you watch it. I recommend this to everyone, it is a very solid show. Watch it fast though or you may forget key parts of the story.

Enjoy!
