Story: 9.5
I would have given the story a 10, if it wasn't for that ending!! Through the entire thing, I wanted to continue. Even after the show ended, I STILL wanted to continue, hoping there would be more episodes. If you haven't read the manga (or had someone explain things to you who already watched the show and knows what's going on in the manga like I did) things can seem a little confusing and certain events seem to be missing an explanation. I was lucky enough have this anime recommended by my sister, so she was able to explain things that I wasn't sure of. Overall, I'd say beautiful story telling when there's no confusion. It was very interesting to see how things progress and how things change over time.

I'm a sucker for how older anime look. Though the animation loops at certain places (like with running), it makes you point out how old this anime is in comparison to what you see in newer shows, but for me, I think it helps me give more appreciation for the show. How something made 17 years ago is still portrayed with the same kind of intense influence.
Sound: 10
I'm in love with the Berserk OST. Pure fire. The songs fit what's going on in the show, and helps enhance the feelings the characters are trying to send across to not only whoever they're talking to if anyone, but to the viewer. Sometimes, it even helps makes scenes more memorable.
Character: 10
Not only are the characters cool, i.e. someone is just a really good bad guy or someone is a really influential good guy, but the character development and the bonds forming between people and how they all influence each other is also very present throughout the show. How they set people up personality wise is also important, because that influences how you specifically feel throughout the rest of the story.
Enjoyment: 10
I'm absolutely in love with this show, if you couldn't tell already. From the voice acting to the music, to the story itself. I couldn't imagine it differently.

I personally loved this, but to each his own. Watch at your own digression, look things up as you see fit, read the manga if you really like this show since the manga is STILL ongoing. Hopefully you enjoy this show as much as I did.
