Personal bias aside of preferring happier endings, I cannot deny one fact. The execution of this anime is brilliant. It accomplishes the sole purpose of what the anime intended to do, which is make you hate what you are looking at.
It succeeded in making me attached in a way where I felt horrible for what happened to many of the characters to the point of verbally yelling at the screen (which never happens to me). If you have ever wanted to hate the MC of an anime, I would doubt any anime could ever top this. What this lacks in? It has a mediocre script, unlikable characters, and many ridiculous set of events that blur the lines of realism to being screwed up. The subtleties are truly great, and the psychological aspect is pinpoint perfect. However, I just cannot watch something so twisted and screwed up and call it enjoyable. I hope I never watch this again.
Extra: The next episode preview with the cell phone aspect was a very nice touch to the end credits.
