Story: The story was extremely good, in my opinion. I personally think that, the story couldn't have been put down any better than It was. I'll even go as far as to say that this story has almost no holes in Its plot, compared to the average anime. The story was emotional and even heart-breaking at times, and is the anime that was the 1st one to almost make me shed a tear, though I bet If I watched It now for the 1st time, I would've definitely shed some tears, as back when I 1st watched It around 2~3 years ago, and that was a time when i didn't really care about romance all that much.
The story deserves a 10/10
Art: The art of Clannad was one of the most beautiful ones, I've ever seen in an anime. Saying that It was 3 times better than the average anime would be a great understatement.
This art-style was one of those which you find once every 100 anime, no even less. An art-style that really brings life to the characters, in some cases even more life than some people have in real life.
Definitely a 10/10
Sound: From the opening to the ending, from the voices of main characters to side characters, from the themes to the background music. It was all absolutely beautiful to hear. I mean, I'm quite confident one could go as far to make a concert only using Clannad's beautiful music.
Of course, music alone isn't enough to make me rate the "Sound" a "10/10".
Another thing to add is the placement of the music. You can't add this soundtrack here, that one there, you have to place them in the right places, in order to make the music times more better, which Clannad did perfectly and earned a 10/10 in "Sound" as well.
Characters: The characters were simply amazing. Some might argue that they were quite cliche, but I will disagree. Sure, there are quite a lot of similar personality characters out there, but what makes the character unique and original in my opinion is their background. Since I don't want to spoil, I'll just say this very simplistically, the backgrounds of these characters were... Absolutely amazing. These were, in all honestly, some of the most original character pasts, which I had ever seen.
It was almost impossible to hate the characters, all you could do is love them, even Sunohara the comedy relief character. He got quite a lot of spotlights, which are even some of my favorite moments in this anime.
The characters in overall undoubtedly deserve 10/10 in my book.
Enjoyment: I had a slight problem with the enjoyment, with this anime. Sure the Story; Art; Music; Characters were all outstanding, but I had needed to stop watching Clannad half-way through, because of my internet going away for a while.
So in the end Enjoyment is a 9/10, because of my internet.
[Note; I don't think that my enjoyment should really matter in the matter of fact, as enjoyment is different for anyone, I feel like the Enjoyment section is just meant for me to express a bit more of my own feelings.]
Overall: The anime was outstandingly good, taking everything into consideration, this anime is a 10/10 anime worth anyones time.
