Preliminary (7/13 eps)
Charlotte is a simple yet enticing anime. This is an anime about super powers, school life and a mix of drama. Now, don't get turned off by the mention of 'drama'. I'm the kind of guy that likes awesome bad-ass scenes, panties, lolis, basically your average guy. To put it simply, I like this show. Maybe, you should too. To get on, Charlotte is about Otosaku Yuu in which whom was bestowed the power to control people for five seconds. Man, the things I could do with that kind of power. Let's just say he uses those powers for 'undecent' kind of reasons. No, not like controlling an entire terrorist organization called 'The Black Knights' and pretty much ruling the entire world kind of undecent. Unlike some protagonist of another show we know. No, he does not use his gifted powers like that. He uses it like any teenage guy would. Yuu had used his power, at one point to look into a bra and at a girl's panties. This show's pretty damn interesting.

Story: 9
Pretty good anime so far. This anime is like another diamond in the rough. Just waiting to outshine its predecessors. To sum this show up in as little detail as possible and as little spoiler content as possible, Yuu Otosaka, our beloved and unhated protagonist is inducted into the student council to hunt other super power wielders! Why, you ask? I can't go further into details until you watch it yourself.

Art: 10
Pretty outstanding and amazing art. I really liked the way they drew everyone. Personally, my favourite female character in the series is Ayumi, Yuu's little sister. She simply looks adorable. Oh and the other characters are drawn pretty well. Their eyes are pretty shiny as well. The art really is something else. It feels like without the art of this magnitude, any other kind would just not make Charlotte seem 'alive'.

Sound: 9
All voice actors are pretty good and the character voices are well suited to their counterparts. Well done. I also liked the opening. The ending song sometimes switches from time to time. Although, I don't mind but I would have liked one ending song for the entire series.

Characters: 9
Yuu Otosaka really had some good ideas at the start. And I mean, some really good ideas ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Our protagonist is not naive, nor is he incompetent. He is one of those lovable protagonists that I can most definitely relate to. He is a rather good guy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). I like all of the characters. Especially Ayumi. Ayumi, in Charlotte is like your moe relief. She's adorable. Tomori Nao, the student council president is like the realist in this anime. Joujirou Takajou is the comic relief, pretty interesting guy. Yusa-chan is our idol relief ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o). There are some characters you may dislike in this series however. I won't name them as it would be giving the story away.

Enjoyment: 10
I loved this anime. A little advice from me however, you might want to brace yourself in this anime. It is a most definite roller coaster of emotions. Happiness, laughter, hatred, anger and most definitely sadness.
i cri erry tiem
1 like 1 prayer for a certain moetagonist.

Overall: 9
Perhaps one of my favourite anime this season.
