Mixed Feelings
I can't stand ecchi, but I decided to give this a go because it apparently didn't fall into the frustrating plot moves ecchi normally does. It was a mistake and frankly, it has convinced me to never watch ecchi again.

The series is hilarious but falls into the many, many pitfalls of ecchi story telling. Expect to suffer many cardiac arrests from the down-right ridiculous obstacles they throw in the way of story progression, down to the last minute. If you're looking for a short fun series, I don't recommend it. It has absolutely no closure, with no sequel visible (even though it is strongly hinted). I have never felt so at war with myself when talking about B Gata H Kei. It has given me some of the best laughs, second to Nichijou, and it is a very interesting premise.

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS FROM NOW ON**

However, I absolutely cannot forgive the ending, it is what you're all expecting from it just from the ecchi tag, but it is far worse at the same time. It leads you on into false hope and snatches away what you've been watching the series for right in front of your eyes, over and over again. They throw up the typical road blocks that prevent what the fans want from happening WAY more than they should have, just to milk a second season. The series would have been a 9 had it ended the way it was pretending it would, but it didn't. This has left the most bitter taste in my mouth and I don't think I can ever forgive it for that.
