I feel like if there wasn't so much hype about this anime while it was running, it would definitely be underestimated. By the cover art, the title, and the plot, you wouldn't think of this anime to be very good. However, that is not the case.

Usually titles and plots will turn me away from an anime, but from the very first episode, you will be automatically drawn to the charm and charisma of each character. This is one of those special anime that doesn't need fighting, supernatural beings, or an over-hyped fandom to make it great.

Basically, don't let the fact that this anime is about a calligrapher turn you away from it. Without a doubt, you will enjoy this anime in some aspect whether it's from the humor, character development, excitement, friendship, or just a little bit of it all.
