If you´re looking for an Anime that has clever plots and intrigues like Death Note or Liar Game you´ve found the correct Anime disguised as Baseball. However it definetly cannot compare to the former. Every character in this Show aside from the Protagonist Tokuchi seems very "uneducated and simple". Tokuchi has to explain every single detail about his plan to decieve the other Baseball team, for his teammates to understand what he is talking about. Honestly it´s like watching Blues Clues. The viewer can guess about 80% of the tricks used while everyone on the show needs a Neonsign thrust infront of their faces.
It started off promising and had a nice feel to it. However after the first couple of episodes it quickly lost it´s appeal and I´m only sticking to it because I´m procastinating >_
