First and foremost, I just want to let you guys know this is probably for anime viewers who have been watching anime for quite a while. They use a lot of manga and anime references for jokes and whatnot. Definitely (in my opinion) not a starting anime or anything like that.
I can't really collect my thoughts honestly, since it's 4:19 am and I have literally just finished the show, so I'll just say exactly what I had thought throughout the show.
I could not stop cracking up, the jokes they made were both clever and just plain hilarious. The characters reactions to things weren't over the top (what I mean by this is, I'm sure you've seen it as well. The type of animes where just everything is apparently mind blowing to them. Got a bar of soap? "SUGOI DESU," somebody knew how to cook? "EHehEHhehEHhehEHhehHEH?!?!?!?!?!" etc). Literally every single episode, got me sincerely laughing at least 4 times. Right now I'm actually trying to be modest, but the actual number would be at least 6 times. Even thinking about some scenes right now is making me chuckle and laugh.
This is by far one of the most hilarious and light-hearted shows that you will ever watch, but at the same time, that's its declining factor.
This show is simply for the raw factor of enjoyment, it's light-hearted and it only stays that way. Some times during the show you will be frustrated and just down right disappointed that there's no plot development between the characters and nothing truly progresses between them. This also means of course that this show NEVER gets serious. Well, there are some scenes, that give you some hints, and you can feel a very SLIGHT and realistic feel of the characters slowly bonding together. It feels very natural to the point where you don't even notice it unless you straight out watch the first few episodes compared to the last.
So although this show is hilarious, although it is light-hearted, it also never gets serious and the characters never dramatically progress romantically. And there is not much of a plot, how I see it is that this show takes a very realistic view of a select number of characters. Nothing dramatic progresses and when you think about it, before the confession (you know what I'm talking about) nothing dramatic should happen between the characters. If anything, it's more unnatural for that shy guy in anime to turn all daring and shove a girl onto a bed (was watching too much ecchi that day I guess).
So if you want a show that is light-hearted, and you just cannot stop cracking up and laughing, please, watch this show. But at the same time, be prepared for very slight character development (to the point where you won't even notice it to the end) and absolutely no progressing plot. This show was by far enjoyable and honestly there is no reason not to watch it.
PS I want to explain my ratings, so, for the art, sounds, and story I gave them all an 8 because there was nothing particularly stellar about any of them. There was no progressing plot (to be honest, the setting is very interesting and is honestly what got me hooked to the show. It's unique and creative which is why I gave it an 8 instead of a 7 but at the same time it never progresses so I simply left it at an 8), the sounds were enjoyable and fit the scenes but again, nothing spectacular, and the art depicted the characters properly but again... nothing stellar or memorable.
Where this show really shines is in its loveable characters and their interactions, again, you will not stop laughing. My enjoyment for shows like these are always a 10, and overall, it's an easy 9 for me.
