Firstly, this show is overrated.
I finished watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I enjoyed the show, but was not totally thrilled by the main characters emotions. She didn’t seem enough into Usui to love him like she hinted that she did. I was misled into thinking that Misaki really didn’t like Usui, but to my surprise, in episode 26, she confessed that she always wanted to hold hands with him and blushed a lot. Misaki willingly kissed Usui right after this confession. All of the other characters seemed to think that Misaki was in love with Usui even though I couldn’t justify it, myself. I do wish the show had a more thoughtful ending, one in which the time jumped to the future and the viewers could see Usui and Misaki being married, or at least dating.
