I wanted something fresh, since i got sick of shows with whiny protagonist who is more emotional than teenage girls, overreacts to everything and has secret powers which conveniently manifest just when needed.
In Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, protagonist is pretty much godlike, doesnt really show any emotions, besides his weird love towards his sister. Instead of being action hero lucky and surviving every situation put in, he is actually just capable to solve the situations without any problems.
If you are looking for a show with overpowered, determined and cold protagonist who can deal with pretty much any situation put in, then you just might enjoy this show.
