Shinsekai Yori or From The New World is one of the anime that surprised me very much.The story is done in an excellent manner.the characters are flushed out really well and we can relate why they act the way they act.but not in the beginning as this anime deals with a lot of mysteries.Even for a story that spans across about 15 years of time it never fails to produce that mysterious feel.and this in fact is the driving force here.The later half of the show felt like it went in another direction however it is done perfectly.There were even moments that scared me and no other anime has ever done that.This is speculative fiction done right,A master class of an anime.the animation and music are also excellent.if you haven't seen this you are missing out big time on a true masterpiece.
