So, a ton of people have complained about the main character, Tatsuya Shiba, being way too overpowered for the show. This is undoubtedly true, but, in my experience, it didn't take away from the enjoyment at all. If you are the kind of person who, for some obscure reason, wants to see an MC grow slowly and then become slightly cooler than they were before, then you might not want to watch this anime. But if you love badass scenes, great animation, and a solid plot, then you definitely should. Of course, it's not as if the MC just uses all of his power to just rampage through everything; instead, he slowly reveals each of his powers one at a time and *then* rampages through everything. But, all joking aside, the MC's background is really interesting, and his "OPness" comes at a pretty significant cost, so it's kind of justified. He still faces somewhat serious conflict, and while otherwise dangerous situations may feel somewhat less harrowing due to his immense power, there are a few of them that left me in suspense. Plus, there are quite a few other characters that are involved in the action, so you can't forget about them. And also, once again, I must stress this: the MC is utterly BADASS. It's just plain fun to watch.

Essentially, watch this if you don't mind a very OP main character and are more interested in the action sequences or the immersive plot. Or pretty much anything aside from the fact that Tatsuya is an OP main character.
