The Characters
Me:Well. Frankly, in my opinion, the cast are a fucking mess of cookie cutter characters who are really boring and ear grating
Shu Ouma: man that's dreadful
Me: so is my rating on the characters *claps* OH! BURN!
Ok Egoraptor ripoff aside this anime has really generic characters and honestly I'm fine with that. Heck some of my favourite anime had stereotypical anime characters and i have no problems with that but this anime executed them horribly. I mean the main character was so incredibly pathetic in the start of the series but then he gets more reliable and shit right? but it felt like all the wrongs he had were never really righted I felt it needed a confrontation and not just him showing of his power or sumthinlikthat and sometimes they just had the pettiest problems that made me go "Oh, COME ON". but i'll cut them some slack they had great character development and it's kind off personal because it's what made the anime make me feel so cringy
The Animation
Oh man. This show blew my mind with all the scenes and art and the OH MY GOD. there are so many scenes here that look so good that you can plaster it on a poster and it'd look epic. This anime is theater quality and if you start
hating the plot then think of of as like a picture book but the plot is kinda interesting it's just that some people don't like it
The Sound
Man for the production value of this anime it's all bread and butter. I mean music is great, art is great it's like a freaking hollywood movie. The sound really blended with the scenes and tones. OH and props to this one track in the anime named Bios which really foreshadowed the epicness of the anime and gave me chills.
The Story
Meh. That's all I can say i mean it was touching and made me cry but then again felt a bit off for some reason I mean maybe it's just me. But to be honest the story ain't as bad specially the ending. It was a very fitting ending and I don't know why people don't like it and really gave out a more tragic tone.
My Thoughts
If you have free time you should watch this anime it's great eye candy that doesn't have the best story and characters but really the art and sound will make up for it and if you just let go and go with the flow you might find it quite amusing
