Let me begin by saying that Romance was never my favorite genre or at least it never occurred to me that the genre would become my favorite. And as I was searching for more anime that would be related to Romance, I happened to come across this gem of an anime.
Kaichou Wa Maid Sama...An anime about school and maids? Sure it sounds pretty dumb at first and you'd think it's like every other anime with butlers and maids but it's NOT! KWMS is actually a heartwarming anime about love and of the walls people need to overcome to reach what we call love.
From the story to the characters, you'll fall in love with the anime...however you'll feel disheartened by the end knowing that you've gone through all the episodes and you want more! The story is basically about a female character who falls in love with a guy who has a mysterious background that you won't find out about unless you read the manga beyond the anime...which you should do anyway, because it's a beautiful story really. Along the way, our heroine and hero expresses each others love in different ways...but pride gets in the way and walls begin to arise which complicates the already complex relationship.
It's a love story, and it's worth your time if you're in to romance or even if you're not - just try it. You might end up loving it as much as I have, which i'd never thought would be possible. It will make you laugh, give you the warm fuzzy feeling in your heart, and eventually will make you fall in love with it.
