The storyline was wonderfully captivating. I really enjoyed the story as a whole. It is intense, with lots of romance. Although I did find one of the protagonists unbelievably annoying, the story made up for it. All of the other characters were great, and there was a decent element of character development. Especially in the beginning, there were a lot of sex scenes (not graphic), it annoyed me a little, but that is my personal preference, I am not into that kind of thing. Just don't say I didn't warn you. It is always slightly unsatisfying, and in most times intense to keep you going. As much as some characters or events annoyed me, I couldn't put it down.
The only thing that I would have to complain about is probably the worst ending in the history of anime. Everything is left unresolved, and it left me feeling confused, like I had no idea how things were left. It did not end on a concluding note, and it seemed random and rushed. I think will the symbolism of the number 7 throughout the series had something to do with it. Since they ended on 47, they needed to rush the ending, so none of it made any sense at all. (Although if they went til 49, 7 is th sq root). It is a great series, so watch it if you are ok with a HUGE let down at the end.
