Why do good men do terrible things? Why do we feign altruistic motives, when we are really just trying to better our own lives? Is there a way to buy back the future that has already been stolen from us do to the mistakes of our fathers? Those are just a few of the questions posed by this genuinely intelligent piece of work.

With a mass amount of anime falling short, missing the mark, or getting by with the same old, tried and true methods, this anime shines through with originality, and brilliance. The plot mirrors the very real problem that our world faces now, and shows us that no matter what we do, we must do it for the betterment of the future, and nothing else. The one thing I would say about the plot, is the real world love interest didn't get enough screen time, but what can one expect when so much is being done in just 11 episodes?

The rest of the show is well done as well. The Animation is crisp, the explosions are fiery, the punches are explosive, and the blood is... money. Symbolism my friends, the word you are looking for is symbolism. (Forgive the Boondock Saints reference. I know not what I do.)

The music score is pretty generic and unobtrusive, and the sound is fine. I wouldn't buy the soundtrack, but it definitely didn't take anything away from the anime.

Overall I give this a 9/10 simply because I believe it could have been just that much better with a little more attention paid to some of the support characters, especially, as stated above, the real world love interest. 13 episodes would have done it I think. That being said, I strongly recommend this anime to anyone who is into economics, virtual/parallel realities, epic battles, cute flying anime girls, explosions, moral dilemmas, and, or cheesy romance.
