Spring begins. I met you. Your first image are not too good. You are rude, willfulness, but your sparkling appearance make my heart lift abit. "Yuujin-A", I was indicated.

-Spoiler alert-
The story start off when Kousei met Kaori, and where the journey of exciting classical music begins. This is a youthful romance love anime revolves around classical music. We get to listen to some Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart etc throughout the story. The music is re-blended and its beautiful performance put us into the world of classical music. In fact, the way the director make a full episode dedicated to a performance in the competition is so much thrilling and hell ya, the once boring classic music become so interesting now. Surely, you will start to enjoy classical music after watching this anime.

As music is one of the main aspect in this anime, the director promises a good hearing experiences. The classical music is undoubtedly thrilling, from the way the characters perform it, together with bgm that makes this anime a great success. There is one particular ost when the music come out, like the others, reflects well what the scene going to tell, and is very emotional. Sometimes, you get teary just by listening to those ost. As of opening and ending, i personally think they are the best i have heard for the year of 2014 (especially op1 and ed2).

The art is excellent, expecting some good quality from A-1 pictures. The anime start off with the vibrant color of the spring, where everything looks so lively and wonderful. The blossoming season indicate the beginning of story, where our characters start to move forward in their dream, and that make a good contrast to the gloomy winter when the anime is coming to the end, indicates the worsening of situation. But at the last episode, the winter turn to spring again. Therefore, no matter how sad the ending is, it actually shows the resolvement and the new start of our main characters, as said, no matter how hard life is, we have to move on.

There are characters connect to each other through music. Kousei very first piano performance has open a new window for young Emi and Takeshi to explore deep inside musical world. It is as if there are some mysterious power lie within the music. The are so amazed by him that they start to perform piano as well. When they have grown up, the music has eventually make them a forever rival and friend.

But only at the final episode we get to know that Kaori is also one of Kousei admirers. Surprisingly, the one that changed Kaori life is Kousei, as Kousei brought new hope for Kaori to continue live as a violinist. Afterall, Kaori is just a normal girl. Knowing not much time has left for her, she tends to live out herself. For the white lie that has been told, it is just an attempt to draw Kousei come closer. Ironically, when Kaori has reach Kousei, Kousei could not play piano anymore. But that does not stop Kaori dream to play together with Kousei. The interchange role of Kaori help Kousei, when recall back, is the one that make everything so wonderful.

The first day i watch Kimi no Uso I thought it will be another typical shoujo anime like Ao Haru no Ride. But when Kaori makes debut standing in the middle of spring and performing her instrument gracefully, everything becomes so different and the anime is like suddenly become so superb. I have eventually grown my affection towards Kaori. The way she lives at the dawn of her life will surely leave an impact on everyone.

So Kaori said, every musician perform because they wish to deliver something to someone. Finally, i get to understand why Kaori cry at the very beginning. The final emotional "I love you" is the one that every of us cry. Will you forget? No, i wont forget, forever. April is coming tomorrow. April / Spring without Kaori. I am glad to have a view of this masterpiece.

PS: I love Kaori but i ship Kousen and Tsubaki because Tsubaki is such a nice girl and if not, she is so pitiful.
