This anime bursts with colours of youth; it deals with the concept of first love, losing someone or something important to you, facing your fears, pursuing what you love and learning to move forwards, or "keep swimming" because, as long as there is life, there is hope. And the music! Oh the music! I've never particularly felt like I was a very musical person, but the soundtrack in this anime paired with the beautiful art and heart-wrenching story--it's enough to make to cry a river!
Not only did I enjoy this anime oh-so very much, but it has also taught me some very important lessons about life: to treasure the people I love; my friendships, my relationships, my family. To live like there's no tomorrow, and do everything I want to do because life is simply too short to have regrets on my deathbed.
