It-----It's not like I do this review for your sake or anything. Someone just forced me to do this review.

Anyway, I was very surprised that this anime came out in Winter 2015. If you couldn't tell that was my tsundere impression. This anime was directed by Kanta Kamei and produced by A-1 pictures. This anime is based on a light novel that was illustrated by Misaki Kurehito who did some illustrations such as Ushinawareta Wa Mirai Motomete.

STORY (8):

The story follows Tomoya Aki, a high school student, who is working part-time to fund his otaku lifestyle. He is planning to come up with a dating sim game, so he forms a circle that consists of Kasumiga Utaha, Eriri Sawamura & Megumi Kato. Kasumiga Utaha as the scriptwriter, Eriri Sawamura as the illustrator & Megumi Kato as the ideal heroine.

This anime was surprisingly the only anime I enjoyed in the Winter 2015. I know I am just saying nonsense, but it's true. I did like the way how this anime took the time to develop characters especially to let audience know that making a dating sim game takes a lot of effort and understanding towards the characters.

This anime has some comedic and light-hearted moments like when Eriri slaps Tomoya with her twintails, that one I didn't see it coming.

My problem is that some parts are boring and especially the bathroom scene with Tomoya & his cousin Michiru. It bothers me the most. As I have said I am tired of comedic misunderstandings. They are not funny anymore. Like a guy accidently walk into the bathroom, and didn't know there was a girl in shower. Nevertheless, I thought that the story was handled well.

ART (9):

The animation is beautiful. Using vivid colours.

SOUND (9):

The opening was addictive and the ending was ok. The voice acting at least did a good job. I also did love the music sang by Michiru's band "Sorairu Days", a theme song from Gurren Laggan.

CHARACTER (8):

I have no problem with any of the characters. I like all of them.

Megumi Kato, was a good character. I thought her character was handled well. Not to mention, she is cute.

Eriri Sawamura, with her tsundere personality was fun to watch.

Utaha Kasumigaoka reminded me so much of Yukinoshita with her cool and serious manner, she sometimes shows a scary look.

I did like the way how they co-operate to produce a great visual novel.

Michiru Hyoudo only shows up in the later episodes where Tomoya tries to convince her to produce some music in the dating game. Michiru didn't have much material to work with. I just wish that she has more scenes. Nevertheless I still enjoyed her character.

Tomoya Aki, was determined to work hard no matter what the cost. However, he can sometimes be annoying.

Izumi Hashima didn't have much material to work with. I also thought Izumi was an interesting character, however she didn't get enough screen time compared to Tomoya, Utaha, Eriri & Megumi.

Overall, the relationships are handled well.

CONCLUSION (8):

I enjoyed this anime although it didn't manage to keep me on the edge of my seat. If you enjoy a slice-of-life that focuses on dating sims, you might enjoy this anime. It was a treat to see interesting characters like these characters and learn more about these characters.

It's not like I give this anime a 8 out of 10. This anime sucks. Just joking!
