Mixed Feelings
I am going to be brutally honest here. If you have watched the first season then i would not recommend it as it only puts sour to the beautifully crafted first season. A far-cry from it's prequel, the anime focuses less on the instantly Op'd MC then on a character that seems to have a pretty dull and a dual character. While it has some moments of its sparks, the anime split in two arc's seems to be a mixture of log horizon and tales of the abyss with no blood boiling story line.
While the character development is something to look out for, the base setting seems to have too dark of a setting with not the same story line.
If you are looking for some screen time for the MC or a relationship development is definitely one to skip but maybe I am being too partial as for the anticipation i had after the first season.
However it has some early glimpses of being an upliftment the story never does take off and only deteriorates further down the episodes.
The new antagonist however does bring something new in the table in the first arc even though as one would suspect of twisted logic and intentions. With some light humour and certain wow factors present it does help to land some pillows for its downfall. The Mother rosario arc Focusing on Asuna only her die hard fans would find it watchable.
Overall: Watch it only if you have nothing else on mind as it does have 4 or 5 wow episodes in the midst of hmm i know where this is going.
