Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) is an awesome anime overall, I would suggest this anime to anyone but specially to people who like good music (romance too). If you want a "feels" anime this one is for you. This is one of those anime that you will be attached to from episode one to the very last moment. It reached my top favorite anime really quick, no words can describe just how good this anime is, just watch it and see for yourself, you won't regret it :)

You can see character building specially on Kousei (main character) that grows as a person, and musician, throughout the episodes.

The slice of life component of this anime is great, giving you the thoughts of the principal characters, the school-life part, the social interactions of each other, the pressure of playing for competitions and in front of many people.

Music-wise I can say this anime is on point, it contains a lot of famous composers references and music. The openings are also a huge plus of this series. The soundtrack is also really beautiful and well done, it fits every situation of the anime perfectly.
